Psycho-Educational Assessment
A Psycho-Educational Assessment is customised based on the questions or concerns parents have about their child. This assessment helps to identify problem areas and diagnose the child using the international DSM-5 criteria. The assessment comprises a cognitive and an academic assessment, which will include additional assessments of attention, memory, executive functioning, and social-emotional skills, as needed.
A Psycho-Educational Assessment is useful for:
- Diagnostic Evaluations – Specific Learning Disorder (i.e., Dyslexia, Dyscalculia), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Developmental Coordination Disorder (i.e., Dyspraxia)
- Singapore MOE School Applications – MTL Exemption, Access Arrangements and School Exemption
- International Schools – Examination Board Documentation for Accommodations (GCSE, IB, College Board, etc.)
- Learning Support Planning
- Progress Evaluation
